Chapter 730 Officer Installation
The Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 730 held its annual installation of officers on April 18, 2026. The elected officers serve for the term until the next installation in April 2027, and the officers were elected at the Chapter 730 meeting that had been held in March 2026. Elected and appointed officers serve for a one year term, except that trustees may be elected for a one or two year term.
The officers installed were: Commander Ken Gonzales, Junior Vice Commander Dan Snyder, Finance Officer Glen Rolston, Sergeant at Arms Mike Morisoli, Trustee (1 Year) Carl Emerson, and Chaplain (Appointed) Raymond Warren. The Installing Officer was LCDR Len Yelinek (former Nevada Military Order of the Purple Heart Commander).
The officers are unpaid volunteers. Distinguished guests included Honorable Mayor Michelle Romero of the City of Henderson, and Honorable Councilwoman Carrie Cox of the City of Henderson. An award of the Chapter 730 plaque for 2025 Patriot of the Year was made to Life Member Dan Snyder.
